When buying a bull what do you require?

At SPENBAR our range of Brahman and Charbray Bulls is extensive. We understand our clients demand bulls to suit their individual needs.
At SPENBAR when we choose a bull we look for a BULL with strong genetics that will be passed on to his offspring, with fertility and with structural soundness.

Strong genetics - Our breeders have strong genetic backgrounds and have been chosen for their temperament, their ability to breed with ease of calving, and their mothering ability to produce strong offspring.

Fertility - We look for a BULL with testicles of a good size, an even shape and consistency.

Structural Soundness - When choosing a BULL we give special attention to the feet, legs, shoulders, hocks, sheath and head. A BULL that shows these features will be a BULL that is mobile and alert. A BULL that will get your cows pregnant and produce calves that meet your market requirements.
